Milestone

A dated, binary checkpoint on the runway. Three things make a line a milestone: a date, a single owner, and a state you can check at a glance without having a conversation about it. “Work on sponsors” fails that test. “Prospectus sent to eight brands, owner Marie” passes it. A phase is a stretch of time, a task is a piece of work, and a milestone is the moment something becomes true. Milestones are what turn a runway from a feeling into a document, and they are the unit a weekly check-in actually reviews.
